IrelandMe started as a directory and ended up something better: a hub for every village, town and corner of Ireland.
One page. The story of the place, what to do, where to eat, where to stay, who lives there, what makes it special. Written like a local would tell you, not a TripAdvisor listing.
The old version had 8,000+ pages — six thin URLs per village (about, things to do, eat & stay, businesses, heritage, local info). Nothing ranked. Nobody read it. The pages competed with each other for the same searches.
So we tore it down and rebuilt around what actually works: one comprehensive page per place. Sections, not subpages. Real writing, not auto-generated lists.
Built in Drogheda. Made for everywhere from Malin Head to Mizen.
