Private Transfer from Bray to Belfast City Airport (BHD)

About This Tour

Bray is a seaside town at the southern end of the DART line in County Wicklow - a brilliant base if you want to be close to Dublin without being in the middle of it, with the Sugarloaf mountain behind you and a long seafront promenade out front. When it’s time to head home and your flight leaves from Belfast City Airport (BHD), this transfer takes care of the whole journey without any hassle on your part.

Pre-book and a confirmed vehicle will be waiting for you - a premium car or minivan, depending on your group size, for up to 6 people. Your driver meets you at the hotel reception or the address you provide, helps with luggage, and runs you north to Belfast on a direct drive of about 2 hours 20 minutes. The vehicle is yours alone for the journey, and all taxes, VAT, airport tolls, and tips are built into the price.

Good to Know

Your driver will meet you at the hotel reception or at the private address you provide at booking. Infant and child seats are available - just select the number of infants (up to 2 years) and children (up to 6 years) when booking so the right seats are ready. Infants can also travel in a pram or stroller. Suitable for all fitness levels. Price is per person.

This is a private tour.

Local Tips

Bray’s seafront promenade stretches for about 1.5 kilometres along the shingle beach, with the headland at the southern end offering great views back over the town and across Dublin Bay. If you’re spending a final morning there before your transfer, it’s a good walk to clear the head before a flight.

Belfast City Airport (BHD) is the closer of the two Belfast airports to the city centre, sitting about 5 kilometres from Belfast’s centre. Arrivals and departures are straightforward, and the drop-off area is easy to access. Compared to Belfast International, which requires a bus or taxi from Antrim, BHD feels much more manageable.

The drive from Bray to Belfast takes about 2 hours 20 minutes in normal conditions, using the M1 north of Dublin. Bray is south of the city, so you’ll pass through or around Dublin on the way - timing your departure to avoid the morning and evening peaks (7-9am and 4-7pm) will keep things moving smoothly.

Luggage allowance is one standard suitcase per person (46x69x29cm). Golf bags, oversized cases, or additional luggage should be mentioned when you book so the right vehicle can be arranged. Prams and strollers can travel in the vehicle.

If you haven’t walked the Bray to Greystones cliff walk yet, it’s one of the best easy coastal walks in County Wicklow - about 6 kilometres along the cliff top with views of the Irish Sea the whole way. Worth saving for your next visit, or squeezing in if you have a morning to spare before your transfer departs.
