Dublin To Lahinch Private Luxury Car Transfer

About This Tour

Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with a name card - no hunting around, no stress. They monitor your flight electronically and time the pickup to suit your arrival, with one full hour of complimentary waiting time built in.

The run from Dublin to Lahinch takes around three hours in a Mercedes E220 Executive Class, with up to 3 passengers and their luggage travelling comfortably. The vehicle and chauffeur are fully licensed and insured under the Irish Government Transport Authority.

One thing worth knowing: this vehicle isn’t set up to carry golf bags. If you’re heading to Lahinch Golf Club with a full set, you’d want to look at a different transfer option.

Local Tips

Lahinch is a surf town first and a village second. The beach breaks on the main strand attract surfers year-round, and the town has the low-key, slightly salt-sprayed feel that comes with that. Most accommodation and restaurants are clustered around the main street and seafront promenade, so once you’re dropped off you can walk pretty much everywhere you’d want to go.

Three hours is the standard journey time in good conditions but the road from Dublin crosses the Shannon at Limerick, and that stretch can slow on busy afternoons. If you’re catching the last hour of daylight at Lahinch or have an evening dinner reservation, it’s worth booking a morning or early afternoon pickup. Your chauffeur will know whether to route via Ennis or Ennistymon depending on conditions.

The Cliffs of Moher are 8km from Lahinch along the R478 coast road. If you’re staying more than a night, the cliffs are a straightforward drive or a scenic walk along the coastal path from Lahinch village. Visitor numbers at the cliffs are highest between 11am and 3pm - arriving earlier or later makes the experience considerably more pleasant.

Lahinch Golf Club sits right beside the beach and is one of the most respected links courses in Ireland, but note that this transfer doesn’t accommodate golf bags. If golf is the reason you’re making the trip, book an MPV transfer or a vehicle with confirmed club storage. For everything else - surfing, coastal walks, the Saturday market - the E220 is perfectly suited.
