Starting at O’Connell Bridge, your photographer-guide leads you through the city’s most visually striking spots - Georgian doorways, the sweep of the Ha’penny Bridge, the colourful shopfronts of Temple Bar, quiet courtyards that most visitors walk straight past. Your photographer will almost certainly bring you here, and the reflections in the Liffey on a clear morning are worth the walk over. The bridge gets its name from the halfpenny toll that was charged to cross it - a charge that continued until 1919.
