The Royal Landing is a vibrant, free family festival in Carrickfergus marking the 1690 arrival of King William III. The 2026 event on Saturday 13 June features parades leaving assembly points at approximately 11:30am, with the main landing at King William III Pier expected at 1:00pm. King William III on his white horse leads the parade to Marine Gardens. A Royal Landing Tattoo at Carrickfergus Town Hall from 2:15pm includes children’s entertainment and cultural performances. A dedicated family entertainment area, food village and live music continue throughout the day, with a second parade at 4:00pm.
