The Ulster Historical Foundation’s 3-Day Research Conference is a shorter, intensive alternative to the flagship September week. Held in Belfast with access to PRONI (the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland), the conference combines expert lectures on Irish genealogical sources with supervised research sessions. The Foundation’s expert team provides daily guidance to help participants make meaningful progress on their family history, covering sources such as church registers, estate papers, land valuation records and emigration records. The programme is designed for genealogists seeking focused, hands-on research time.
Dates: 21-24 June 2026 in Belfast.
