Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with a name card - no hunting for taxis, no queuing, no loading luggage onto a shared bus. The service monitors your flight electronically and times the pickup to match your actual landing, with one hour of complimentary waiting time built in for slow customs or baggage days.
The transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E220 Executive Class, licensed and insured in accordance with the Irish Government Transport Authority. It fits up to 3 passengers with luggage - 2 standard 20 kg cases and 2 small suitcases - and all fees, taxes, and tolls are included in the price.
The Bridge Tavern is right in the heart of Wicklow town. Wicklow is a small harbour town on the east coast, about an hour south of Dublin Airport via the M11. The town has a proper lived-in feel - a working fishing harbour, a beach at the South Strand, and a handful of good pubs and cafes along the main street.
The drive down is fast and straightforward. Your chauffeur takes the M11 south, cutting through the commuter belt towns of Bray and Greystones before the road opens up into County Wicklow proper. On a clear day the Wicklow Mountains are visible to the west for much of the journey.
One hour of waiting time is included - use it without worry. If your bags are last off the belt or customs takes a while, your chauffeur is already in arrivals and happy to wait. You don’t need to rush through, and you won’t be charged extra for a normal delay.
Wicklow town is well placed for exploring the coast and the hills. The Vale of Avoca, Brittas Bay, and the Wicklow Mountains are all within 30-40 minutes by car from the town centre, making it a good base if you’re planning a few days in the county.
