1 Hour Private Photoshoot in Dublin

About This Tour

Most people come back from a trip to Dublin with a phone full of blurry selfies and a handful of decent ones. This is a different approach. You get an hour with your own photographer at some of the city’s best-known spots, and you leave with 20 edited, high-resolution images that actually look like you planned to be there.

The tone is entirely yours to set. Some people want something romantic and relaxed; others prefer something a bit looser and more playful. You can stay in one location or move around and take in a few different spots - your photographer will work with you on the day. Because it’s a private session, it’s just you and them, so there’s no awkward group dynamic and no rushing.

You’ll meet at an iconic Dublin attraction that’s easy to find, and your photographer will take it from there.

Local Tips

Think about where in Dublin you’d like your photos taken. The city has a good mix of locations that photograph well - Georgian doorways, the Ha’penny Bridge, St Stephen’s Green, the cobbled streets of Temple Bar, or the quieter lanes around Merrion Square. If you have a particular spot in mind, mention it when you book. Your photographer will likely know it well or have suggestions for where the light works best at different times of day.

Morning light is kinder than midday. If you have flexibility on timing, earlier in the day tends to give you softer, more flattering light and fewer crowds at the popular spots. The city feels different at 9am compared to 2pm, and the photos reflect that. Dublin’s overcast skies are actually a gift for portrait photography - they act like a giant natural diffuser.

Wear something you feel good in, not something you think photographs well. It sounds obvious, but people often overthink the outfit and end up looking stiff. Bright solid colours tend to work better than busy patterns, and layers give you options if the weather shifts. Dublin will almost certainly shift.

It works well for couples, solo travellers, and families. You don’t need a special occasion to book a session like this. Solo travellers who want a proper photo of themselves in the city find it just as worthwhile as couples marking an anniversary or a honeymoon. If you’re travelling with kids, the one-hour format keeps it manageable.
