Dublin Airport to Trump International Doonbeg Private Car Service

About This Tour

Doonbeg is about as far southwest on the Clare coast as you can get, and from Dublin Airport it’s a 3 hours 10 minute run. DM Executive Line makes that journey in a private Mercedes-Benz with a certified professional chauffeur, so you arrive settled rather than frazzled.

Your driver meets you at arrivals once you’re through, name card ready. The reservations team tracks your flight and adjusts the pickup time to match, so delays don’t leave you waiting or rushing. There’s a 15-minute service stop built into the journey for anyone who needs a break, and you get 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time at the airport. The price is fixed with no surprise charges after booking - the vehicle is yours alone for the entire trip.

On board you’ve got WiFi, bottled water, mobile device chargers, and air conditioning.

Local Tips

Doonbeg village is tiny, so the resort is very much the focus of life here. The Loop Head Peninsula stretching south of Doonbeg is one of the least-visited corners of Clare and quietly spectacular - sheer cliffs, sea stacks, and a lighthouse at the tip that you can visit on a clear day. The drive from the resort takes about 35 minutes.

The Cliffs of Moher are about 45 minutes north of Doonbeg and a natural day trip from the resort. Going early in the morning gets you ahead of the coach tours, and the visitor centre on the south side has a good exhibition about the geology and wildlife if conditions are too blustery for the cliff walk. The cliff-top path between Doolin and the main visitor centre is one of the better short stretches if you only have an hour or two.

Doolin village is the traditional music hub of north Clare, just beyond the Cliffs. McGann’s and Gus O’Connor’s both run sessions most evenings and the atmosphere in either is genuine rather than staged. It’s worth a night out if you’ve got a car.

The local coastline around Doonbeg has good surf breaks and there are surf schools operating nearby seasonally. If you’re not surfing, the beach at White Strand just north of the resort is worth a walk whatever the weather.
