DM Executive Line is a professional chauffeur company based in Ireland, running meet-and-greet airport transfers and longer private journeys right across the country. This transfer takes you from Dublin Airport to Center Parcs Longford Forest in around 90 minutes, door to door.
You’ll travel in a modern Mercedes-Benz with a certified professional driver. Your chauffeur meets you in arrivals with a name card and takes things from there. Pricing is fixed with no hidden costs after booking, and 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included for airport pickups.
Meeting point: Your chauffeur meets you at Dublin Airport arrivals with a name card.
Center Parcs is genuinely deep in Longford’s forest. The 395-acre site is surrounded by working woodland, and the lodges are tucked into the trees rather than lined up in rows. It makes for a calm arrival, especially if you’ve come straight off a transatlantic flight into Dublin and need to decompress.
The route from Dublin Airport is mostly dual carriageway. Your driver takes the M50 south before picking up the N4/M4 heading west toward Mullingar and into Longford. In normal traffic it’s a relaxed 90 minutes. Add some buffer on Friday afternoons when the Dublin commuter traffic builds on the M4.
Longford Forest has its own grocery delivery service. You can order food to your lodge through the Center Parcs website before you arrive, which means you don’t have to stop for supplies on the way. Worth doing if you’re arriving late in the evening.
The surrounding midlands are underrated walking country. If you’re taking a day outside the resort, the Goldsmith Trail around Lough Ree loops through countryside associated with Oliver Goldsmith, who grew up nearby. It’s well-signposted and does around 12 kilometres.
