Dublin To Cliff House Hotel Ardmore Private Chauffeur Transfer

About This Tour

Getting from Dublin to Ardmore used to mean juggling buses, train connections, or a stressful self-drive on unfamiliar roads after a long flight. This private transfer cuts all of that out. Your driver meets you at the arrivals terminal or at any Dublin city location you choose, loads your bags, and takes you straight down to the Waterford coast in one smooth, three-hour run.

Ardmore sits right at the tip of the Copper Coast, and the approach along the R673 gives you your first proper look at the Atlantic cliffs before you arrive at the hotel. It’s a good moment to decompress after a flight rather than grip a steering wheel.

Everything is included in the price you see: parking fees, taxes, and all toll charges. WiFi and bottled water are on board, and the vehicle is air-conditioned throughout.

Local Tips

Book a table before you arrive. The House Restaurant at Cliff House is one of the better-regarded dining rooms in Munster and fills up quickly, especially at weekends. If your transfer arrives in the evening, it’s worth calling ahead so you’re not scrambling when you get there.

The cliff path takes about 20 minutes from the village. Ardmore’s coastal walk runs along the headland above the beach and loops back through the village past the round tower and cathedral ruins. It’s an easy, well-marked route and a good way to stretch your legs after the drive down.

Ardmore village is small but worth a wander. There’s a good pottery and a couple of well-stocked food spots near the beach. The village itself dates back to Saint Declan’s time in the 5th century, and the oratory near the strand is one of the oldest Christian sites in Ireland.

The Copper Coast is a UNESCO Global Geopark. If you have a day to explore before heading back, the drive west along the coast through Bunmahon and Stradbally passes sea stacks and volcanic rock formations that geologists come from across Europe to study. It’s an unusual and genuinely impressive stretch of coastline.
