Dublin To Portrush UK Private Luxury Car Transfer

About

Your chauffeur meets you at Dublin Airport arrivals with a name card - or at your Dublin City address if you’re heading out from town. From there, it’s a private door-to-door run up to Portrush on the north Antrim coast, crossing the border into Northern Ireland along the way. You’ve got Wi-Fi on board, cold water waiting for you, and all road tolls taken care of. Just settle in and watch the landscape change.

The journey takes roughly two to three hours depending on traffic and your starting point. This is a private transfer, so you’re not sharing with anyone else - the car, the timing, and the route are all yours.

Local Tips

Portrush itself is worth a wander before you check in. The town sits on a headland with beaches on both sides - West Strand is the long sandy one that draws the surfers, East Strand is quieter and looks back toward the town. If you arrive with time to spare, a walk along the seafront before heading to your accommodation gives you a proper feel for the place.

Royal Portrush Golf Club is nearby if that’s part of the plan. The club sits right on the edge of town along the coast, and it has hosted The Open Championship. Even if you’re not playing, the views along the clifftop fairways are worth a look from the public path.

The Causeway Coast is right on your doorstep. The Giant’s Causeway is about 10 minutes east by car - the basalt columns are genuinely striking in person and best seen either early morning or late afternoon when the light is low and the coach tour crowds have thinned. Dunluce Castle, perched on a clifftop between Portrush and Bushmills, is another short drive and worth stopping at on your way out of the area.

Bushmills village is just up the road. The Old Bushmills Distillery is the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world and offers tours most days. It pairs well with a drive along the coast road, which is one of the more scenic stretches of road in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
