Private Max 5 Luxury Electric Limousine Transfer, Dublin Airport to Dublin City

About This Tour

The first impression of a new city matters, and arriving in Dublin in the back of a fully electric Mercedes Benz EQV is a good one. This private transfer takes you from Dublin Airport to the city - a journey of around 40 minutes - in a 7-seat vehicle that’s quiet, spacious, and comfortable in a way that the taxi rank generally isn’t.

The EQV is fully electric, so the ride is smooth and near-silent. There’s plenty of room inside, and the luggage area is large enough that you’re not rearranging bags around your legs for the whole journey. The vehicle takes up to 5 passengers with one piece of luggage each (five pieces maximum). All fees and taxes are included in the price.

Local Tips

Dublin Airport has two terminals and they’re not next to each other. Terminal 1 handles most Aer Lingus and Ryanair flights; Terminal 2 handles most transatlantic and long-haul services. Your driver will confirm which terminal to meet you at when you book, but it’s worth double-checking your arrival terminal against your booking confirmation before you land.

The 40-minute journey time is accurate in normal traffic. During morning rush hour (roughly 7am to 9am) and evening rush (4pm to 7pm), the M50 and Port Tunnel can slow things down. If your landing time falls in those windows, it’s worth mentioning when you book so your driver can plan accordingly.

The silence of the EQV is actually useful after a long flight. Especially if you’ve come from North America or further - there’s something about stepping into a quiet, smooth car that makes the transition easier. No rattling diesel engine, no talk radio at full volume. It’s a small thing, but you’ll notice it.

Your luggage allowance is one piece per person, five pieces total. If your group has extra bags, sports equipment, or anything oversized, contact the operator before booking to make sure they can accommodate it. It’s easier to sort before you arrive than at the pick-up point.

Ask your driver about the city as you go. They know Dublin well - good ones will give you a quiet running commentary on what you’re passing without you having to ask. A good transfer driver can save you twenty minutes of Googling before you’ve even checked in.
