If you’re leaving from the Temple Bar area, your chauffeur comes to your hotel reception — no taxi rank, no dragging bags through busy streets to find your car. It’s a private transfer, so it’s just your group from pickup to drop-off.
Two vehicle options are available depending on your group size. The Mercedes E220 Executive Class suits up to 2 passengers with luggage. The Mercedes V-Class takes up to 5 passengers with luggage, though it’s not suited to more than one golf bag. Both vehicles have WiFi, bottled water, air conditioning, and all fees, taxes, and tolls already covered in the price.
All vehicles and chauffeurs are fully licensed and insured under Irish Government Transport Authority regulations.
Infants and small children can travel in a pram or stroller. This is a private transfer — your group only. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Temple Bar is one of the busier parts of the city to leave by car. The streets around Dame Street and the quays can be slow, particularly on weekend mornings when deliveries and early tourists overlap. A morning flight might mean a surprisingly early pickup — trust the operator’s recommendation on timing.
Know which vehicle you’re getting. If it’s just two of you with standard bags, the E220 is comfortable and efficient. If you’re a group of three or more, or have a lot of luggage, ask about the V-Class when booking. Just note that the V-Class can’t take more than one golf bag.
WiFi on board is handy for checking in online during the journey. Dublin Airport requires online check-in for most carriers, so if you haven’t done it yet, the 25 to 40 minute journey is a useful window to sort that on your phone.
Rush hour in this part of the city is real. Temple Bar sits right on the Liffey quays, which carry a lot of commuter traffic heading north and south. Departures between 7:30 and 9:30am, and again from 4:30 to 6:30pm, can add meaningful time. The operator will factor this in, but it’s worth flagging your flight time clearly when you book.
Gratuities are not included. The full cost of the transfer is covered in the price, but tipping is a common and appreciated gesture if your chauffeur is punctual and helpful.
