At Feile Marquee, Falls Park · Falls Park, Falls Road, Belfast, Co. Antrim
The 2 Johnnies - Tipperary duo Jonathon McMahon and John O’Brien - bring their biggest ever Northern Ireland show to Falls Park on 31 July as part of Féile an Phobail. The pair have racked up an Irish number-one album (outselling Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish in the same chart week), more than ten number-one singles, and Ireland’s most-listened-to podcast. They have sold out the 3Arena in Dublin multiple times and played to crowds of 20,000 and upward across the island. If you know the act, you know what to expect: a high-energy mix of music, comedy and crowd singalongs that goes harder the bigger the venue. This is their Féile debut, and Falls Park is as big as Belfast outdoor shows get.
The Feile Marquee at Falls Park is the flagship outdoor stage of Féile an Phobail, and the 31 July bill is a proper festival night rather than a straight support-and-headline format. The full line-up alongside The 2 Johnnies includes The Shamrocks, The Highstool Prophets, Erasured (an Erasure tribute act with a large following), Mark McCabe, Roll With It, DJ Chris Armstrong and DJ Pete Snodden. Gates open at 6pm, giving you time to settle in before the acts build through the evening. Féile an Phobail itself runs from 25 July to 9 August 2026 and draws over 120,000 visitors across more than 500 events citywide - the concert at Falls Park is one of the anchor ticketed shows. The event is organised in partnership with MCD and Shine, the promoters behind many of the island’s larger outdoor gigs.
Falls Park sits on the Falls Road in west Belfast, around two miles from Belfast city centre. Metro bus routes from the city centre run along the Falls Road and stop close to the park - check Translink’s journey planner at translink.co.uk for the correct service and times on the night. If you are driving from the south, the M1 brings you into Belfast; follow signs for the west of the city and the Falls Road. Street parking in the surrounding residential streets is limited on event nights, so public transport or a taxi from the city centre is the easier option. Belfast Grand Central Station and Great Victoria Street are the main rail and bus hubs for visitors coming by train or coach from Dublin, Derry or further afield.
A night at Falls Park fits naturally into a longer stay in the city. The area around the Falls Road has a distinct character and history, and the city centre - with its restaurants, the Cathedral Quarter, and the SS Nomadic and Titanic Belfast visitor attraction - is a short journey away. There is more to see in Belfast and across Co. Antrim.
