At Feile Marquee, Falls Park · Falls Park, Falls Road, Belfast, Co. Antrim
Feile Dance Night is the biggest outdoor party of the west Belfast summer - a full afternoon and evening of DJs and live electronic music under the Feile Marquee in Falls Park. Organised by Feile an Phobail, Ireland’s largest community arts festival, it draws a genuinely mixed crowd: young people who have followed the DJ circuit all summer, families who arrive early for the park atmosphere, and regulars who have been coming to this event for years. If you want a proper outdoor dance event with real production values and a crowd that knows its music, it is worth the trip.
The Dance Night runs as a standalone ticketed event within the wider Feile an Phobail programme, which in 2026 stretches across 15 days (25 July to 9 August) and features more than 700 events at over 50 venues across the city. The 2026 Dance Night headlines Belfast-born DJ Billie Gillies, who has built a reputation on the festival circuit for high-energy melodic sets. The Feile Marquee is a large temporary structure set up specifically for the festival with festival-grade sound and enough space to handle a serious crowd. Doors open at 4pm, giving plenty of time before the peak evening hours. The park itself provides room to move around and take a break from the dancefloor between sets.
Falls Park sits on the Falls Road in west Belfast, about two miles from the city centre. Metro bus routes along the Falls Road run from Belfast city centre and drop you within easy walking distance of the park entrance. If you are driving from Dublin, the A1/M1 brings you into Belfast in roughly two hours. Parking on the Falls Road is limited on festival days, so public transport or a taxi from the city centre (around ten minutes) is the easier option.
Belfast repays an overnight stay - the city centre is compact, the food scene has improved considerably, and the cathedral quarter has live music most evenings. There is more to see in Belfast and across Co. Antrim.
