At The Old Courthouse · Market Square, Antrim, BT41 4AB
The Old Courthouse in Antrim town centre hosts The Sanderson Sisters - The Witches Are Back on Saturday 31 October 2026, part of the venue’s Halloween programme for the borough. The show is a tribute performance inspired by the iconic trio of witches, timed deliberately for Halloween night itself, and forms part of a wider run of themed October shows at the council-run venue in the lead-up to and including 31 October. As with the rest of the Old Courthouse’s programme, it is staged in the borough’s restored eighteenth-century courthouse building in the heart of Antrim, giving the show an atmospheric period setting that suits its witchy, Halloween-night subject matter. It is one of several Halloween-season events the council has scheduled at the venue that same week, alongside other themed shows and sing-alongs. Tribute shows built around well-loved Halloween film characters have become a reliable draw at community venues across County Antrim in late October, offering families and groups of friends a themed night out without the ticket prices or travel involved in a big touring production, and The Old Courthouse’s compact, atmospheric space suits this kind of show particularly well. Fancy dress is generally encouraged, though not compulsory, adding to the Halloween night atmosphere in the audience as well as on stage.
The Old Courthouse sits in Market Square in the heart of Antrim town centre, a short walk from Antrim bus centre and around ten minutes on foot from Antrim railway station, with the nearby Fountain Street car park serving the venue.
