What to Expect

Ballymena Livestock Market is Northern Ireland’s largest livestock market, handling approximately 70,000 cattle per year. Weekly cattle sales are held on Tuesdays (store cattle), Thursdays (fat cows, feeding cows, fat bulls and prime beef cattle) and Fridays (weanlings, dropped calves, dairy cattle, suckler cows and breeding bulls). The market is owned and operated by JA McClelland and Sons (Auctioneers) Ltd.
