What to Expect

Battle of the Axe features stand-up comedy, sketches, improv, and singer-songwriters from Ireland and farther afield in the intimate environment of the Ha’penny Bridge Inn. The show has been a launch pad for some of Ireland’s and the world’s most iconic comedians and remains one of the friendliest places for new would-be comedians trying to perfect their act.

Good to Know

Shows run every Tuesday night at 9:30 PM. This is a recurring weekly event so multiple dates available throughout the summer. Battle of the Axe has been hosting events since 1996, making it over 26 years old. The Ha’Penny Bridge Inn is a traditional Dublin pub in Temple Bar.
