Donegal Ladies Senior Football Championship 2026

Donegal’s ladies senior clubs are working through the group stage of the county’s top championship, with Group A and Group B fixtures running across several venues on the same afternoon. Naomh Adhamhnáin/St Eunan’s host CLG Naomh Náille at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny, one of four Senior Championship group games played that day.

What to Expect

Group A and Group B round-robin matches decide seeding for the knockout stages that follow later in the championship. In Group A, An Clochán Liath (Dungloe) host Naomh Conaill (Glenties). In Group B, alongside the Letterkenny fixture, Gleann Fhinne (Glenfin) host Gaeil Fhánada (Fanad) at Pairc Taobhoige. Standards are consistently high in this competition: Donegal’s senior ladies clubs regularly supply players to the county panel, and group games tend to be tight, physical contests played in front of strong home support. Expect vocal sidelines and a proper club-championship atmosphere rather than a quiet league fixture.

Getting There

O’Donnell Park sits on the edge of Letterkenny town centre, a short walk from the Port Road and within easy reach of the N13 and N14 routes into town. On-site parking is available at the grounds, with overflow parking on surrounding streets on match days. The An Clochán Liath and Glenfin fixtures are reached via the N56 travelling west and south-west from Letterkenny respectively.
