At Killygordon · Killygordon, Co. Donegal
Finals night for Donegal’s U16 All-County football league arrives on Monday 10 August 2026, with four division finals played at three venues across the county. In the Division 3 final at Killygordon, An Clochán Liath (Dungloe) take on Burt for the title.
The evening brings together the best U16 club sides from four separate divisions. The headline Division 1 final sees Ardara meet Gaoth Dobhair at Davy Brennan Memorial Park near Glenties, home ground of Naomh Conaill, a repeat of some of the toughest underage rivalries in the county. The Division 2 final between CLG An Tearmainn and St Michael’s is played in Convoy, while the Division 4 final between Urris and Letterkenny Gaels is played at Naomh Colmcille’s grounds in Newtowncunningham. These are proper finals, not routine league fixtures, and clubs typically bring strong turnouts of parents and supporters to see their underage sides compete for silverware.
Killygordon is on the N15 between Ballybofey and Lifford in east Donegal, with parking available at the pitch on the evening. Convoy and Newtowncunningham are both close by on the same east Donegal road network. Davy Brennan Memorial Park near Glenties is further south-west via the N56, so supporters travelling to more than one final on the night should allow time between venues, as they run in overlapping windows.
