James Arthur at Trinity Summer Series Dublin

What to Expect

James Arthur won the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012 and has built a career that has moved well beyond that beginning into a genuine run of hits. Impossible remains one of the biggest-selling singles in X Factor history, and subsequent albums and singles like Say You Won’t Let Go, Empty Space and Recovery have confirmed his place as one of the most commercially successful artists to come through the talent show route. Live, he has developed into a confident stadium-scale performer.

The Trinity Summer Series on 29 June 2026 opens the week-long outdoor festival in Trinity College Dublin’s historic grounds. Gates open at 7pm.
