At Homes, pubs and businesses across Kerry · Various locations, Co. Kerry
Ireland’s Hospice Coffee Morning falls on Thursday, 24 September 2026, and Kerry Hospice Foundation is once again asking people across the county to put the kettle on. It is a simple format repeated in kitchens, pubs, offices and community halls all over Kerry on the same day: host a coffee morning, ask for donations, and every cent raised locally stays with Kerry Hospice Foundation rather than going into a national pot.
There is no single venue. Homes, pubs, clubs, hotels and workplaces across Tralee, Killarney, Dingle, Listowel and every other Kerry town are encouraged to run their own version on the day, from a small gathering of neighbours to a bigger staff morning tea in an office or hotel lobby. Bewley’s has sponsored the national campaign for over three decades, and Kerry Hospice Foundation uses the day as its single biggest annual fundraising push, funding the frontline palliative and bereavement care it provides free of charge to patients and families across the county. Anyone can register to host a coffee morning of their own, and the foundation’s Facebook page lists confirmed local coffee mornings as the date approaches, so it is worth checking there nearer the time for one within reach rather than guessing at a venue in advance.
Because the day plays out at dozens of separate venues across Kerry rather than one fixed location, there is no single route or transport note. Find a confirmed local coffee morning near you via the Kerry Hospice Foundation Facebook page or the national hospicecoffeemorning.ie site closer to the date.
Whichever town your local coffee morning falls in, it is worth building a wider day around it while you are there. There is more to see across Co. Kerry.
