Nore Valley Park Halloween Pumpkin Patch

Nore Valley Park’s Halloween pumpkin patch is the farm’s best known autumn attraction, running across weekends in October at Annamult, near Bennettsbridge. Visitors pick their own pumpkin from the patch and can carve it on site, alongside the farm’s regular tractor rides, go karts, bouncy castle and animal encounters. The park’s Halloween page was live on the farm’s website at time of writing but had not yet published confirmed 2026 weekend dates; based on the pattern of previous years the patch is expected to be open from early October through the month, with the date above set to the first likely weekend inside this window.

What to expect

The pumpkin patch sits alongside Nore Valley Park’s standard farm attractions, so a visit combines pumpkin picking with the tractor and trailer rides, go karts, bouncy castle and animal encounters, including bottle feeding, that run through the year. Pumpkins are priced individually from €3 depending on size while stocks last, with a carving station and craft corner set up for visitors who want to carve on site rather than take pumpkins home whole. In previous seasons the farm has also run a maize maze alongside the pumpkin picking, plus face painting and refreshments available for an extra charge. Nore Valley Park runs separate Christmas and Easter programmes too, including Santa visits and an Easter egg hunt with baby animals, so the pumpkin patch is one part of a wider seasonal calendar at the farm through the year.

Getting there

Nore Valley Park is at Annamult, outside Bennettsbridge, about 10 minutes south of Kilkenny city off the R700. There is no public transport directly to the farm, so a car is needed; the park has its own car park on site.
