What to Expect

The Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival is Europe’s largest singles festival, drawing crowds of over 60,000 across the month of September to the spa village of Lisdoonvarna in the Burren. Music is central to the festival with daily live performances including ceili bands, country music, cover bands, traditional sessions, and DJs. Dancing fills the festival marquee and village bars every afternoon and evening throughout September.

Getting There

Lisdoonvarna is in the Burren, north Clare, on the N67 approximately 40km north-west of Ennis. Bus Eireann connects Lisdoonvarna with Ennis. Limited parking in the village during busy September weekends.
