What to Expect

Mount Eerie is the project of Phil Elverum, an American songwriter and producer also known from The Microphones, whose body of work over the past two decades represents some of the most uncompromising and emotionally direct music made in the folk and experimental space. His records process grief, landscape and mortality with a directness that has earned him a genuinely devoted following among listeners who want something with real stakes.

The Button Factory on 17 June 2026, presented by Foggy Notions, is exactly the right setting: intimate, serious, with a capacity that means everyone present is close to the music. Special guest Maggie Miller adds further depth to what is already an evening with genuine artistic weight.

This is the kind of show that confirms Dublin’s reputation as a city that takes its smaller concerts as seriously as its arena events.
