DM Executive Line covers the three-hour run from Dublin Airport to Westport with a private, chauffeur-driven Mercedes-Benz. Whether you’re heading to Mayo for a break or for business, you’re met at arrivals, helped with luggage, and taken door-to-door without any fuss.
The service includes flight tracking, so your chauffeur adjusts if your arrival is delayed. You get 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time built into airport pickups, which gives you space to clear customs and collect bags without rushing. Pricing is fixed - what you book is what you pay.
You can choose between a saloon or an MPV depending on your group size and luggage:
Westport is one of those towns that earned its reputation fairly. It sits at the foot of Croagh Patrick along the shore of Clew Bay, and the town itself is a pleasure to walk around - it was planned in the 1780s and the tree-lined Mall along the river is as pretty as any street you’ll find in Connacht. If you arrive in the evening, Bridge Street and James Street have good pubs and restaurants where you can get your bearings over a pint.
Croagh Patrick is right there on your doorstep - Ireland’s holy mountain, where St. Patrick fasted for 40 days, rises 764 metres above the bay. The climb takes about two to three hours return from the carpark at Murrisk, and the view from the summit across Clew Bay on a clear day is one of the finest in the country. Wear decent footwear; the upper section is loose quartzite scree.
Clew Bay is dotted with around 365 islands - one for every day of the year, as locals like to say. The bay is calm and well-sheltered, which makes it good for kayaking, sailing, and stand-up paddleboarding. Rentals and guided tours operate from the town during the summer months.
The Greenway is a 42-kilometre off-road cycling trail running from Westport to Achill Island along a converted railway line. It’s flat, traffic-free, and passes through some of the best coastal scenery in Mayo. Bike hire is available in Westport if you want to do a section of it during your stay.
