If you’re travelling with a group, a family, or you’ve simply accumulated more luggage than a standard taxi can handle, this is the transfer to book. Your driver meets you in arrivals in a Mercedes-Benz EQV or Class V van, which gives you proper room to spread out after a long journey rather than wedging everything into an estate car. Your flight is tracked from the moment it lands, so your driver knows exactly when you’re coming through the doors - you won’t find yourself standing around waiting, and if your flight runs late you’ve got 60 minutes of free waiting time built in.
All airport taxes and parking fees are covered in the price, and it’s a private transfer, meaning no other groups in the van. The ride into Dublin city centre takes around 25 minutes.
A Mercedes-Benz Class V is a proper people carrier, which means if you’re travelling with young children, pushchairs, or anyone who needs a bit more room, you’ll be far more comfortable here than in a standard transfer car. Infant seats are available on request too, so flag that when you book.
Flight tracking means your driver starts monitoring your arrival well before you land. If your connection was tight, your bags took a while, or you got held up at passport control, your driver already knows and is adjusted to your actual arrival time rather than your scheduled one. That 60 minutes of free waiting time is a genuine buffer, not a marketing figure.
Dublin Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles most Aer Lingus and Ryanair flights, while Terminal 2 is used by a range of other carriers including transatlantic routes. Your driver will meet you in the correct arrivals hall, but it doesn’t hurt to double-check which terminal your flight comes into before you land.
The van is roomy enough that you don’t need to pack light for this one. If you’re coming in from a long trip with oversized bags or sports equipment, have a conversation with the operator in advance to make sure everything fits comfortably.
Dublin in 25 minutes from the airport is realistic in normal traffic conditions. If you’re arriving during rush hour on a weekday - broadly 7:30am to 9:30am or 4:30pm to 6:30pm - it might take a bit longer, so build that in if you have something booked in the city shortly after you land.
