Your photographer meets you at Dublin’s Registration Office at the start of the three hours and stays with you right through to the end. During the ceremony, they’ll work quietly in the background, picking up the real moments - the small glances, the smiles you don’t notice you’re making, the things you’ll want to remember but won’t entirely. They know how to be present without being in the way.
After the ceremony, you’ll spend time in and around the venue for portraits, making the most of the architecture and the light. Then you head out into the city. Your photographer knows Dublin’s streets well and will bring you to spots that actually work as backdrops - historic corners, quieter laneways, places that suit your story rather than whoever came before you. Every image gets professionally processed and uploaded to a secure online gallery, where you can download them at your leisure.

Dublin’s Registration Office is in Lombard Street East in the city centre, just a short walk from Trinity College and Merrion Square. That part of the city is genuinely photogenic, and your photographer will know exactly which angles and light conditions work best depending on the time of day.
If you’re getting married on a weekday, the streets around the Grand Canal and Merrion Square are much quieter than at weekends. That makes it easier to get clean shots without crowds in the background, which is something worth considering when you’re picking your date.
Dublin’s Georgian architecture is one of the city’s best-kept visual secrets. The brick terraces around Fitzwilliam Square and Baggot Street look exceptional in photos, especially in the softer morning or late afternoon light. Your photographer will know these spots, but it’s worth mentioning if you love that look.
If you’re planning a longer stay in Dublin after the ceremony, your gallery photos will be ready to download before you leave. That’s a nice thing to know if you’re hoping to share a few images with family before you fly home.
