Dublin Airport to Kenmare Premium Car Service

About

Kenmare is one of those Kerry towns that earns its reputation. Sitting at the meeting point of the Iveragh and Beara peninsulas, it’s a proper destination - good food, strong independent shops and some of the most dramatic scenery in the country just outside town. Getting there from Dublin Airport takes around 4 hours, and DM Executive Line covers the route in a luxury Mercedes-Benz with a certified chauffeur, door-to-door.

Your driver meets you at your hotel reception with a meet-and-greet service. At the airport, 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included so flight delays don’t become your problem. The price is fixed from the moment you book - no extras added on when you arrive.

Local Tips

Kenmare’s food scene punches well above its size. For a town of just a few thousand people, it has a remarkable number of quality restaurants. Mulcahy’s and Packies are long-established names, and the town’s proximity to the Kerry coast means fresh seafood is rarely off the menu. The farmers’ market runs on Wednesdays and is a good first stop for local produce.

The Ring of Kerry starts and ends right here. The 179km scenic route around the Iveragh Peninsula is well signposted from Kenmare, and most coaches run it clockwise - which means if you drive it anti-clockwise by car, you’ll have cleaner views from your side of the road and fewer buses coming the other way. Your chauffeur can give you the current advice on that.

The Beara Peninsula is quieter and equally beautiful. Most visitors head for the Ring of Kerry and miss Beara entirely, which is their loss. The road out to Dursey Island and the cable car crossing - the only cable car in Ireland - is a genuinely different kind of day out. Castletownbere at the far end of the peninsula has a working fishing port and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere.

Kenmare stone circle is a short walk from the town centre. Dating from the Bronze Age and one of the largest stone circles in Ireland, it’s easy to miss because it sits behind a small gate off the main road. There’s no entry fee and it’s rarely crowded - a good spot to stretch your legs after the drive down.
