Dublin Private Guinness and Jameson Whiskey Tour with Transfers

About This Tour

Dublin’s two most famous exports in one private morning: Guinness and Jameson. You’ll travel in executive transport with a dedicated whiskey and beer specialist who brings the city to life between stops, passing through different districts as you go.

The whole tour is private - just you and your group - with one exception: the Bow St. Experience at Jameson Distillery is a shared tour. The Guinness Storehouse visit is normally self-guided, but here your host takes you through it properly, which makes a real difference to what you come away knowing.

You arrive at Guinness Storehouse just after 10am, ahead of the main crowds. The Gravity Bar pint comes at the end of that visit, so there’s no need to worry about the early start. After about two hours at the Storehouse, you cross the Liffey to Smithfield for the Jameson half of the day.

Maximum group size is 15 people.

Local Tips

Arriving just after 10am at the Guinness Storehouse puts you ahead of the main visitor rush. By midday the queues through the standard entrance can be substantial, so the early start genuinely pays off here - you’ll move at your own pace through floors that will be much busier when other visitors arrive.

The Gravity Bar on the seventh floor has 360-degree views across Dublin. On a clear day you can see the Dublin Mountains to the south and the bay to the east. It’s worth taking a few minutes to get your bearings before the pint lands in your hand - it gives the whole city a sense of scale that maps can’t quite capture.

The drive from the Storehouse across the Liffey to Smithfield passes through some of the city’s most interesting neighbourhoods. Your host uses that journey to fill in the gaps between the two venues, so the city tour element isn’t just filler - it’s genuinely part of the experience.

Jameson Distillery Bow St. is in Smithfield Square, which has some excellent spots for lunch after the tour wraps. The square itself has had a lot of investment in recent years and the surrounding streets are worth exploring if you’ve got time. Your host will be able to point you towards wherever suits your mood.

If anyone in your group isn’t a whiskey fan, there’s no pressure at the Jameson tasting. The comparison of three Jameson expressions is included, but you can take as much or as little as you like. The cocktail is part of the Bow St. Experience and is also included.
