All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Semi-Final 2026

At FBD Semple Stadium · Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Camogie players at Semple Stadium Thurles for the All-Ireland semi-finals

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship semi-finals come to FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles on Saturday 25 July 2026 - one of the biggest days in the camogie calendar. The four teams who reach this point have come through a group stage and quarter-finals, so there is nothing soft about the draw. Clare sit second in Group 2 heading into the summer, and a quarter-final win would put them on this stage. An All-Ireland semi-final at Semple is well worth the trip either way.

What to expect

Semi-final day at Thurles typically runs as a double-header, with two ties back to back across the afternoon. The standard at this stage is several levels above county or provincial level - these are the sides who have been consistent all season. Semple Stadium holds over 45,000, which gives the occasion a scale you rarely get in camogie. Gates tend to open around 12.30 pm on major match days, with the first game from approximately 2.00 pm - confirm times at camogie.ie once the draw is finalised. Tickets are from €20 and available in advance via Ticketmaster or at the gate on the day.

Getting there

Thurles is in north Tipperary, about an hour by road from Limerick city and 90 minutes from Dublin via the M7 and N62. By train, Thurles station sits on the Dublin Heuston to Cork line - Semple Stadium is under 10 minutes on foot through the town centre. Bus Eireann operates services from Limerick and Dublin on major GAA match days. Town car parks on Liberty Square fill quickly; arriving early and walking in is the smoother option.

While you’re in Ennis

If you are travelling up from Clare or making a weekend of it, Ennis is roughly an hour’s drive from Thurles and gives you a far wider choice for overnight stays and evening spots. Thurles itself has good pubs and food options around Croke Street and Liberty Square for before or after the match. There is more to see in Ennis and across Co. Clare.
