Summer Madness is Ireland’s largest Christian festival, running since the early 1990s and attracting over 1,700 campers each year, plus day visitors. The festival brings together young people and groups from every denomination across the island of Ireland to celebrate, connect, and explore faith in contemporary culture. The programme includes main stage worship and music, seminars and talks, workshops, and evening celebrations. Families with children aged 5-11 are catered for alongside the main youth programme (ages 15-25). The festival site is adjacent to Portglenone Abbey, a Cistercian monastery in the Bann Valley.
Dates: 26-30 June 2026. Camping on site throughout.

Portglenone is on the A42 between Ballymena and Maghera, approximately 10 miles west of Ballymena. The nearest bus stop is in Portglenone village. Most attendees travel by car or arranged coach from local churches.
