Northern Ireland performer and musician Teresa Livingstone brings her solo show Nice Lady to the Lyric Theatre Belfast’s Main Stage on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026. Written and performed by Livingstone, the piece blends stand-up storytelling with original songs, built around the question of what happens when a middle-aged Northern Irish woman finally drops the politeness and says what she actually thinks. Reviewers have called Livingstone “a terrific performer,” praising how she moves between comic monologue and live music to build a show about reclaiming your own voice and sense of self after years of being told to stay quiet and agreeable. The show runs in two parts, a shorter twenty-minute opening act followed by a full hour, giving the piece room to build from light comic set-up into something more personal by its close.
Nice Lady plays the Lyric’s Main Stage for two performances only, both starting at 7:30pm, on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026. Tickets cost between £16 and £28.
