What to Expect

Schweppes Ireland takes over The Perch’s rooftop terrace above Ten Square Hotel for a three-hour summer cocktail session on Friday 7 August 2026. Ticket holders get two Schweppes-mixed cocktails, a selection of nibbles, and a short cocktail-making demonstration talking through how each drink is built, with a DJ keeping the terrace moving through the evening. Branded Schweppes merchandise, including sunglasses and bucket hats, is handed out on the night, and everyone who attends is entered into a raffle offering tickets to a music festival and a horse-racing meeting. Organisers describe it as a “summer vibes” session aimed at making the most of one of Belfast’s few genuine rooftop settings, weather permitting. It is an 18+ event, with the venue opening from midday but the ticketed Taste the Summer session itself running 6pm to 9pm, so there is time to arrive, settle in and catch the last of the evening light over the city centre skyline before the DJ set builds through the night.

Getting There

The Perch sits directly behind Belfast City Hall in the heart of the city centre, within walking distance of Great Victoria Street and Belfast Central rail stations and every city-centre Glider and Metro bus route. There is no dedicated parking at the venue itself; the nearest options are the multi-storey car parks on Bruce Street and Dublin Road, both a short walk away, or the NCP on Ormeau Avenue for anyone arriving by car from outside Belfast.
