What to Expect

Bere Island parkrun is a free weekly 5k timed event held every Saturday at 9:30am at Bere Island GAA Club in Rerrin Village. Reaching it requires a short ferry crossing from Castletownbere - making it one of Ireland’s most distinctive parkrun locations. Tea and coffee are available at the GAA clubhouse after the run.

Getting There

Take the ferry from Castletownbere Pier to Rerrin Village. From the ferry landing, walk into Rerrin Village, turn right between O’Sullivan’s Bar and Kitty’s Cafe and follow signs to the GAA pitch (approximately 8 minutes walk).
