The BoyleSports Ulster Derby Summer Festival is the highlight of the Northern Ireland flat racing calendar. Day 1 (Friday 19 June) is an evening meeting with gates opening at 3:30pm and the first race at 5:10pm. Day 2 (Saturday 20 June) is Ladies Day, with gates opening at 12:00pm and the first race at 2:06pm. The feature races on Day 2 are the Ulster Derby and the Ulster Oaks - Northern Ireland’s most valuable flat races. The festival attracts racegoers from across the region for competitive racing and a style-led social atmosphere.
Down Royal Racecourse is on Maze Road, Lisburn, approximately 20 minutes south-west of Belfast. Car parking available at the racecourse. Not served directly by public transport on race days - shuttle services may be available.
