What to Expect

The Cape Clear Lavender Festival celebrates the island’s community-led agritourism initiative, which began in 2021 and now produces artisanal goods under the label “Cape Grown - Cape Made.” The third annual festival features lavender picking, hat decoration workshops, live music performances, a farmers market at North Harbour, and lavender gin sampling. The inaugural 2024 festival drew over 500 visitors in a single day.

Getting There

Cape Clear Island is reached by ferry from Baltimore Pier, Co. Cork. Baltimore is approx 100km from Cork city via the N71.
