What to Expect

Kilrush Library hosts free weekly chess classes for adults every Friday from 11:00am to 12:00pm. The classes are run by the library and are suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to improve their game. Chess is a proven tool for sharpening problem-solving skills and concentration. Upcoming Friday dates include 12, 19, 26 June and 3 July 2026, with the series continuing throughout the year.
