What to Expect

The 2026 Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship gets underway with the Divisions/Colleges section opener between Avondhu and Seandun on 9 June. The 12-club group stage features Blackrock, Glen Rovers, Kanturk, Fr O’Neill’s (Group 1), Sarsfields, Charleville, Douglas, Newtownshandrum (Group 2), Midleton, St Finbarr’s, Bride Rovers, and Newcestown (Group 3). Defending champions Sarsfields begin their title defence against Charleville, while Blackrock and Glen Rovers meet in the highly anticipated northside-southside Cork city derby. The championship runs through to October.
