What to Expect

A scenic 10K race beginning with a 3km loop through historic Donegal Town, passing iconic landmarks such as The Quay, The Diamond, Donegal Castle, The Courthouse and St. Patrick’s Church while crossing the River Eske twice. The route then heads south along the N15 toward Tullyearl before turning onto a stunning stretch revealing sweeping views of Donegal Bay. A 5km family walk option is available for walkers, families, and supporters.

Good to Know

Proceeds from the 10K race support the Solace Cancer Support Centre in Donegal Town. Entry fees are €29 for the 10K and €5 per person for the 5K (€20 for family entries). On-the-day registration is available at Abbey Vocational School Gym from 8:00am - 10:00am, subject to availability. The event is organised by Tirchonaill Athletic Club.

Getting There

The event is based at Abbey Vocational School Gym in Donegal Town, which is centrally located and accessible by car. Donegal Town is in south County Donegal, easy to reach from surrounding towns and villages.
