What to Expect

A 24-hour community event bringing together survivors, supporters, and carers. The evening features a Survivors’ Lap of honour at the start, followed by teams taking turns walking relay throughout the night. A celebration of those affected by cancer and a major fundraiser for cancer services. Luminaries light the pathways throughout the night in remembrance.

Good to Know

Relay for Life Laois takes place on August 8, 2026 at Emo Court House and Parklands. The event runs for 24 hours with teams walking in relay. This is a recurring annual event - in 2025, Relay for Life Laois raised €41,987 for vital cancer services in the county. Teams can register in advance to participate or donate.
