Swedish progressive metal band Opeth bring their touring cycle for The Last Will and Testament - their fourteenth studio album - to Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on Sunday 2 August 2026. Described by the band as the darkest and heaviest record they have made in decades, the album is built around a concept narrative set in the 1920s, and the live show is shaping up to match that ambition. This is not a casual weekend gig; it suits dedicated fans of progressive and heavy music who want a full theatrical evening rather than a quick support-and-headliner run-through.
