Trinity College Library Long Room and manuscript exhibitions

What to Expect

Visitors can view the iconic Long Room library with over 200,000 volumes, and see rare books and manuscripts including the Book of Kells facsimile (the original is also displayed seasonally), medieval manuscripts, and first editions. The Trinity College Library is a UNESCO Memory of the World register holder and showcases Ireland’s intellectual heritage across centuries.

Getting There

Trinity College Green is in central Dublin, walking distance from O’Connell Bridge. Luas Red Line stops at Tara Street (adjacent to Trinity). Multiple bus routes serve College Green.
