Savage Minds Theatre Company play the Garage Theatre on Friday, 9 October 2026, at 8pm with Entangled, a comedy about love, lies and a set of characters whose stories tangle together over the course of the evening. It comes from the same writer behind Cheque’s In The Post and The Aftermath, both previous touring comedies on the Irish amateur and semi-professional drama circuit.
Entangled follows Michelle, whose plan to save her relationship with Aidan spirals out of control once the other characters in the play get pulled in. The Garage Theatre’s own listing describes it as a laugh-out-loud comedy about deception and complicated relationships, with the four main characters each getting drawn further into the mess as the plot moves along. Savage Minds Theatre Company works the same touring circuit as many of the other companies that play the Garage Theatre through the autumn, bringing a single show to a run of small and mid-sized venues across the country rather than a long residency in one place, so this is very much a one-night stop on a wider tour. The show runs at the theatre’s usual evening slot of 8pm, and tickets are priced from EUR 14, with a higher tier for better seats in the auditorium.
The Garage Theatre is part of the Monaghan Education Campus on the Armagh Road, on the edge of Monaghan town, with its own car park on site. It is a short drive from the town centre.
