What to Expect

The Foyle Maritime Festival is Derry’s flagship free outdoor festival, transforming the riverfront and Ebrington Square into a four-day spectacle of tall ships, street arts and live music. The 2026 edition - themed “Forged by the Foyle” - features a dedicated live music stage with entertainment across all four days, plus circus theatre, family workshops, continental markets and a spectacular fireworks finale on Sunday night over the River Foyle.

Getting There

Ebrington Square is on the east bank of the River Foyle, accessible via the Peace Bridge from Derry city centre. Parking is limited during the festival - public transport and cycling recommended.
