Stuntworx Elite Gymnastics and Ninja Summer Camps

At Stuntworx Elite · Bay 4, Unit 4-6, Merlin Commercial Park, Doughiska Road, Galway

Children learning gymnastics and ninja skills at summer camp

If your child has ever watched a ninja warrior show and demanded to try it themselves, or tumbled across the living room floor and needed somewhere to channel that energy, the Stuntworx Elite summer camps are worth knowing about. Running across four weeks in July at their dedicated facility in Merlin Park, Galway, these camps take children aged 4 and up through gymnastics, cheerleading, ninja warrior training, and dance - all under qualified coaching, in age-separated groups. It is the kind of week that sends kids home tired, happy, and already asking when the next one starts.

What to expect

Each five-day camp session runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm, making it a manageable morning programme that leaves the afternoon free. Children are grouped by age - one group for ages 4 to 7, another for ages 8 to 15 - so sessions are pitched at the right level whether your child has never done a forward roll or has been training for years.

The gymnastics-based programme covers foundational movement skills, with cheerleading routines, ninja-style obstacle work, and dance woven through the week. Stuntworx Elite is a full-time gymnastics and cheer club, so the equipment and coaching standards are the real thing, not a pop-up setup. Camps regularly sell out and the organisers are clear that pre-booking is essential.

The standard camp fee is €129 per session, with a sale price of €114 currently available. Multi-camp discounts reduce the cost further - €35 off when you book two camps, €75 off for three - which is worth knowing if you have siblings attending or a child who wants to come back for a second week.

Getting there

Stuntworx Elite is at Bay 4, Unit 4-6, Merlin Commercial Park on the Doughiska Road, on the eastern side of Galway city. It is easy to reach by car from the N6 or M6 motorway - the Merlin Park area is well-signposted and the commercial park has on-site parking. Coming from outside Galway, Bus Eireann and Citylink run regular coaches into Galway city from Dublin, Limerick, and beyond; local city buses serve the Doughiska Road area from Eyre Square.

While you’re in Galway

Galway is a good base for a summer trip. The city centre, Salthill seafront, and the Claddagh are all within a short drive of Merlin Park, and the Connemara coast and the Aran Islands are an easy afternoon out once camp finishes. There is more to see in Galway and across Co. Galway.
