What to Expect

The 49th Galway International Arts Festival transforms the city into a vibrant hub of creativity over two weeks. The festival collaborates with artists and companies worldwide to present an international programme of theatre, spectacle, dance, visual arts, music, literature and comedy involving hundreds of artists and performers. Over 200 shows take place across 25+ venues including galleries, intimate theatres, outdoor performances and the iconic big top tent. Highlights include circus performances, music acts, theatrical productions, visual art exhibitions, and literary events.
