Garvagh Forest parkrun - Weekly 5K

What to Expect

Garvagh Forest parkrun is a free timed 5K held every Saturday at 9:30am in Garvagh Forest, near Coleraine. The course follows two outer loops around the forest and then a smaller inner loop, with signposts throughout. The surface is all forest trail, mostly light gravel. All abilities are welcome.

Good to Know

• Every Saturday at 9:30am year-round. Free but you must register once at parkrun.org.uk before your first run.
• Trail surface - suitable footwear recommended.
• No toilets or changing facilities at the forest; public toilet available in Garvagh village.
• Overflow parking at St Paul’s church or Jim Watts Sports Centre nearby if the small forest car park is full.

Getting There

Garvagh Forest is located off the main road through Garvagh village, between Coleraine and Maghera.
