At Marina Market · Centre Park Road, Cork City, Co. Cork
The Homecoming of Joseph Grace is a tender and unexpected new drama by award-winning playwright Deirdre Kinahan, directed by leading theatre director Louise Lowe and performed by Michael Glenn Murphy. The one-man play takes audiences on an odyssey through deep rural Ireland, World War I battlefields, the cabarets of Weimar Berlin, and on through to a tentative homecoming after 50 years of exile. The production explores Cork’s cultural history as a port and place of departure. This is a world premiere production at Cork Midsummer Festival before travelling to the Dublin Theatre Festival.
Marina Market is on Centre Park Road on the south side of Cork City, approximately 1 km from the city centre, accessible by city bus.
